Daniela Pannuti

Daniela Pannuti has joined Avenues São Paulo as an associate division head for the Primary Division. Daniela is an attentive and experienced early childhood professional committed to providing comprehensive and constructive support to students and faculty alike. She is also committed to research, continually pursuing questions and reexamining practices in teaching. Most of all, Daniela is passionate about facilitating the wonder of discovery in children.

Daniela joins us from Colégio Vera Cruz, where she was director of teaching and learning. During her 10 years at Vera Cruz, she established program goals and oversaw the curriculum and daily routines for kindergarten through 3rd grade. Daniela also led professional development sessions for faculty. Besides developing specific instructional support for faculty, she also provided mentorship and feedback throughout the year.

While at Colégio Vera Cruz, Daniela was also a visiting scholar at the University of Vermont. At the university's Campus Children's School, she participated in a pedagogical residency program for student teachers. In this role, she developed course content, planned classes and mentored students training to be early childhood educators.

Daniela completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at the Universidade de São Paulo (USP). She also earned a Master of Science, specializing in linguistics, at USP, as well as her doctorate in educational psychology. Daniela speaks English, Portuguese and Italian.

In her free time, Daniela enjoys spending time with her adventurous family -- her husband, teenage son, and daughter. They enjoy both traveling the world, or simply cooking in their kitchen. Besides traveling and cooking, Daniela also loves books and art, and discovering new spots for children in the city.
