This week, 10th grade students finished reading Clarice Lispector's The Hour of the Star in the school garden. Using their own hypotheses, they examined narrative strategies used by the narrator Rodrigo S. M., explored the meaning behind the story’s thirteen titles and attempted to make sense of Macabéa’s tragic destiny.

Last week, 66 Avenues student-athletes in soccer, volleyball, futsal, and basketball teams participated in a truly international Friendship Festival. Playing against nine international schools from Brazil and Paraguay, our athletes had a fantastic time building their new teams through friendly competition.
