In class, middle grades students not only learned about the “do’s and dont’s” of Lunar New Year, they also learned about how Chinese people follow a day-by-day guide to do New Year’s preparation seven days before the Lunar New Year’s eve.

On Sunday, February 26, Avenues held its first Ruckus Constructus, a school-wide family STEAM event created by Avenues faculty, parents and students. The turnout was overwhelming, with more than 1,200 people from the community in attendance and the building came to life with almost 50 hands-on sessions.
