“Anybody can change – it’s about skill, not will,” J. Stuart Ablon, Ph.D., told an audience of Avenues community members this winter. Ablon runs a clinic on challenging behavior, called Think:Kids, at Massachusetts General Hospital. During his visit, Ablon discussed how differences in neuro-cognitive skills can cause both children and adults to struggle with challenging behavior. To address these issues, Ablon uses an approach called Collaborative Problem Solving. Learn more in the video below.
