Our 12th grade English students visited St. Ann’s Warehouse in Dumbo, Brooklyn, to view a production titled The Jungle.  Students took a seat inside the bustling Afghan Café to experience how, with minimal resources in a cold, inhospitable environment, refugees, and volunteers built a warm, self-governing society out of nothing.

Amelia Padilla, Pre-kindergarten Teacher

The Goldfish and Starfish embarked on a study of Frida Kahlo. They learned about her artistic life, where she was from and about her love for making self-portraits. Our pre-K curriculum already incorporates self-portraits, so this was the perfect way to connect the study of Frida Kahlo to a familiar theme.
