Learning about and trying new natural foods is one important way young children learn about their world. In the Yellow nursery classroom of the Early Learning Center, a key part of the curriculum throughout the academic year is food study.
Many are familiar with the classic and beloved children’s tale of The Three Billy Goats Gruff, who must overcome a mean troll to cross the bridge and eat grass and daisies in the valley. In December, the children in the “Yellow” nursery classes (nicknamed the Giraffes and Seahorses) in the Early Learning Center performed a puppet show of this tale for an audience of adults and children.
