Two years ago, the sixth grade vocal class at Avenues sang the famous civil rights anthem “Nobody Turn Me Around” for the Middle School Martin Luther King Day assembly. Rather than teaching them an existing arrangement of the song, I created a sketch of a new one and began working with them on developing the arrangement.   More...
